Ramsammy cops third Mr. Guyana crown; Campbell wins seventh Men’s Physique title

The titles have kept coming for Darius Ramsammy and Emerson Campbell as they both etched another chapter of success at the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness and Federation Senior Championships on Saturday at the National Cultural Centre.

Ramsammy, aiming to win an  International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation Elite Pro Card,  won his third straight Mr. Guyana crown.

At the same time, Campbell extended his unparalleled dominance in the Men’s Physique with a seventh title.

As the champion of the Under 176 lbs. class, Ramsammy went against the other class champions in  Rawl Green (Masters), Nicholas Albert (177lbs & Over), Delrae McLean (Under-165 lbs.) and Roger Callender (143 lbs.), and once again reigned supreme with his well-defined physique.

However, as Ramsammy admitted, he has to develop a much larger mass now to reap success on the international stage.

Christina Ramsammy (center) won her first Miss Bikini title

Additionally, Campbell did the expected as he undoubtedly won his physique group ahead of Jonathan Jeffrey and Yusuf Khan, while Christiana Ramsammy won her first Miss Bikini title.

Christina placed ahead of Aleya Wong and Melitha Anderson, while Hannah Rampersaud remained the champion for the Miss Bikini (Wellness), followed by Angelica Barroncas and Vanisha Munroe.
