Anthony Bramble stroked a belligerent 136 of a mere 58 deliveries, while leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo bagged 425 to spur Albion Community Centre to a massive 111-run victory over Tucber Park in the final of the 2025 Ivan Madray T20 First Division cricket competition at Albion Community Centre Ground on Sunday.

Bramble, a former national wicket-keeper/batsman, smashed 11 sixes and received solid support from Devendra Latchman with 35 and Damion Cecil 34, as the home team posted a formidable 2474 off their allotted 20 overs, after they had won the toss and took first strike.

Former West Indies leg-spinner Bishoo then dashed any hope the visitors may have had to get close to their target, as once he was introduced into the attack; he picked up wickets at regular intervals to dismiss the visitors for 136 in 14.1 overs.

Left-arm-spinner Kelvin Umroe supported well with 27.

The experienced Damion Vantull made 25 and was backed up with 23 and 21 respectively from Garfield Benjamin and Joemal LaFleur.

Earlier, Malcolm Mickle had grabbled 233 bowling for Tucber Park.

It was Albion’s third consecutive title in as many years.
