Guyanese boxer Keevin Allicock has received a significant boost to his career through a new corporate partnership with SANY, marking a major milestone as he prepares for his upcoming professional bout against Dexter Marques on March 28.
Allicock and Marques are set to appear on the card featuring a world title clash between US-based Guyanese Elton Dharry and Tanzania’s Salmin Kassim at the Pegasus Suites and Corporate Centre.
The partnership goes beyond a one-time sponsorship, as Allicock will officially sign on as a brand ambassador, with SANY committing to support his development at both the professional and amateur levels.
“I really appreciate the donation and the support towards my professional fight,” Allicock said. “When I reached out, they accepted my request and Jonathan offered to meet with me. It’s an overwhelming feeling, but I’ve worked hard and this is what you get when you make sacrifices.”

The fighter is currently in intense preparation mode, with immediate focus on the upcoming CAC trials in March, where he will compete at 60kg.
Following the trials, Allicock will return home for the March 28 fight against fellow Guyanese Marques, a match-up expected to generate significant local interest.
Promoters anticipate a high-energy event, particularly as the fight card will feature Dharry and Kassim clashing for the IBO Super Bantamweight World Title, adding further prestige to the night.
Allicock emphasised the importance of corporate backing in advancing local boxing talent, and expressed gratitude to his supporters and faith community.
“I want to say thanks to God most importantly for making this dream come true. I always dreamed about moments like this. With great sacrifice comes great success, and this is just the beginning.”
With momentum building and promotional activities set to ramp up in the coming weeks, fans are encouraged to stay tuned for announcements surrounding the March 28 event.
