The Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating a shooting incident which left a 19-year-old labourer nursing a gunshot wound on Thursday morning at Block āEā Sophia, Georgetown.
According to initial police enquiries, ranks on mobile patrol duty received information that the teen was wanted in connection with an alleged robbery under arms matter.
Police said the ranks later observed the suspect riding a motorcycle and attempted to intercept him. However, upon reaching the vicinity of his home, the teen reportedly abandoned the motorcycle and ran into his yard.
