DEAD: Mark Cameron
He has been identified as 29-year-old Mark Cameron of Guyhoc Park, Georgetown; he is the same driver who was driving the car in 2017 that killed 38-year-old Malcolm Ross and his 20-year-old girlfriend Jewel Pestran.
In that accident, police said Cameron was intoxicated, speeding and driving without lights.
Four years later, Cameron died while heading north along the western side of the Soesdyke/Linden Highway, again reportedly at a fast rate when he lost control of the car at around 09:10hrs.
As a result, the car ended up on the eastern parapet and turned turtle causing Cameron to fall out of the vehicle.
Occupants of the car, Quakey Stanford, 38; Calldella Marshal, 25, and Shemika Richards, 23, sustained injuries.
The driver was picked up in an unconscious condition along with the others and taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where Cameron was pronounced dead.
The occupants are presently receiving treatment.
