This is the first year Guyana will tap into oil money after discovering oil in 2015 and pumping first oil in 2019. The money, the AG assured, will be “used to develop Guyana and transform the lives of every single Guyanese.”
“This generation of Guyanese is most fortunate and blessed… This year we will transform Guyana into a completely different place.

Nandlall promised that the government will not leave any grouping of Guyanese behind.
“This is not the time for divisive politics, ethnic strife, or racial insularity… this is time for cohesion, togetherness and national unity.”
