While firefighters arrived promptly at the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze, the upper flat and everything inside were already destroyed. Levi revealed that items in the bottom flat suffered severe water damage.
“We tried to render assistance but it was too overwhelming but thank God for the Fire Service, I [must] compliment them; at least they save the bottom.”
The family does not know what comes next; Levi said most of them grew up in the family house.
“We lately do over back the place,” Levi said while explaining that they lost all of their personal belongings and important documents.
“We had fridges, TVs, documents, it’s a lot of things…a lot of things gone,” Levi said.
