He said, “By playing matches across the country players will need to assess and adopt to the different pitch conditions in real time – within the context of match. Further, travelling across the country gives players more opportunities to grow as a team, to negotiate challenges that arise due to the dynamics of the team and the display to ambassador qualities that comes with the responsibility of representing teams.”
President Singh went on to remark that another priority choice of the GCB’s five-year strategy plan is to provide livestream of Inter-County matches.
He said “this allows our players and proud sponsors to be further marketed within and outside of Guyana. The live and recorded videos will give players and coaches additional opportunity to assess players’ strengths and weaknesses and to strategically plan for their development.”
The GCB/Dave West Indies Imports and Exports Under-15 Inter-County Tournament 2022 will have live stream and commentary for each round beginning with livestreaming at Imam Bacchus in round one, Albion Community Centre ground in round two, Everest Cricket Club ground in round three and Georgetown Cricket Club ground, Bourda, for the finals on Friday April 29, 2022.
