The live feed from the CCTV cameras will be viewed by ranks at the Divisional Headquarters.
According to the release, Pareshram noted that the use of more technology throughout his division will create a safer and more secure environment for residents.
He thanked Williams for his kind gesture and timely donation and assured him that the CCTV cameras will benefit the community.
Other police officers along with the Haslington/Golden Grove Neighbourhood Democratic Council (NDC) Chairman, Coretta De Jesus formally received the two cameras on behalf of the residents and they all oversaw the installation at the entrance of the New Haslington Scheme.
