Ramlall Madhoo, 51, and his 42-year-year-old wife Camille Dwarka died as a result of drowning and blunt trauma after they fell into a septic tank at Timehri, East Bank Demerara, on Wednesday last.
According to a police report, the husband tried to save the wife who fell into a septic tank. Both individuals, however, died.
A post-mortem examination was performed on the couple. And, information provided by the public relations team of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) indicated that the woman died of blunt trauma, while her husband died by drowning.
A detailed report on the examination has not yet been released and as such, it is unclear whether the blunt trauma Dwarka experienced was to her head.
