Amrita Singh was chopped to her head during the attack
Based on information provided, Singh has been enduring harassment and torment from the suspects for sometime and she made several reports to the police.
In the video seen by the News Room, Singh was pushing her bicycle through the street while being verbally abused.
Within seconds, a female in a blue shirt grabbed her and lashed her to the head; another female who was armed with a cutlass, chopped Singh to the head, resulting in a gaping wound.
Singh fell to the ground screaming as the attackers hurriedly escaped from the scene.
Several others, armed with cutlasses and large pieces of wood, were also seen in the video.
