Team Mohamed’s targets six-second bracket with new Pro-Mod

He did confirm that “we should run low six seconds pretty easily.”  It means the current record of 7.501 seconds, which the white GT-R currently holds at the venue, will be shattered.

Additionally, Terence Cox, the man behind the wheels of two of the GT-Rs, said the “white car is running really good” and they are aiming to get the car down to 7.2 seconds and eclipse a speed of 200 miles per hour.

The Black GT-R, commonly called Goliath, is also expected to hit the track and produce some exceptionally fast times, as well as the Nismo, which is piloted by team principal Azruddin Mohamed.

Tickets will go on sale from March 24 at the club’s Albert Street and Thomas Lands venue, Mohamed’s Enterprise (29 Lombard Street, Georgetown); Motor Trend Service Center (Area L Foulis Public Road E.C.D); West Coast Customs Wash Bay (Vreed-en-Hoop, W.C.D); Massive Audio (Parika, E.B.E); Homeline Furnishing (592 New Amsterdam, Berbice); Sukhpaul’s Business Enterprise and Auto Sales (Lot 7-8 Strand New Amsterdam, Berbice); and Sukhpaul’s Service Station (Corriverton, Berbice).

Adult tickets cost G$2000 each, while admission for children is G$500.

Meanwhile, competition is expected from Suriname with a total of 10 cars so far confirming participation.
