Last November, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hugh Todd presented Guyana’s bid to host this 2024 conference. And at the end of this year’s conference, all 33 participating countries supported Guyana’s bid.
“We are committed to working with all governments of this LAC region and with the FAO to prepare for (the next conference).
“We look forward to welcoming you in 2024 and to giving you a taste of the warm Guyanese hospitality,” Mustapha reportedly told the FAO in the Caribbean press team.
