The grader involved in the accident

Police revealed that the grader was proceeding east along the road while the car was heading in the same direction some distance behind; it is alleged that the speeding minibus attempted to overtake the car, but ended up colliding with the front right side of the car and lost control and crashed into the rear of the grader.

Police said breathalyzer tests were conducted on the driver of the car and Grader and no trace of alcohol was found.

Investigations are ongoing.
