On the individual side, Guyana’s Jerimiah Duncan, who won his 50-52 kg bout with Andrew Curtis of The Bahamas when the referee stopped the contest one minute, 37 seconds in the third round, was deemed the Best Boxer of the championship.

Bahamian Jailen Young had a unanimous decision over Guyana’s Tiquan Sampson in the 54-56 kg class, while it only took one minute and 31 seconds for Guyana’s Joshua Thambarran to stop Trinidad’s Prince Charles in the first round of their 57-60 kg contest.

Eon Bancroft Jr. won gold for Guyana via another first-round stoppage victory over St Lucia’s Herve Charlenagne in the 60-63kg class.

It was a unanimous decision for St. Lucia’s Keybert Similien over Trinidad’s Joshun Lewis in the 57-60 kg, while Bahamian Jayden Young defeated Guyana’s Dwayne Baptiste in the 70-75 kg.

The final bout of the night saw Emanuel Pompey produce a round two stoppage in his win over Bahamian Elijah Smith.
