A Cessna 182P Skylane aircraft N9347G, reportedly owned by well-known Guyanese pilot and operator Orlando Charles crashed on Sunday morning near the Aricheng Airstrip in Region Seven.
Reports on social media indicate that the aircraft went down sometime around 7:50 AM. It is believed that the pilot sustained injuries.
The Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is expected to launch an investigation into the accident to determine the circumstances.
